Raters say we are...  italian, cheerful, cheap, pizza

I never thought I'd be giving a Pizza Express five stars but I really liked this place. It's upstairs in the Victoria Square shopping centre where there are four or five different cheap and cheerful restaurants.

The menu seems to have been updated quite a lot since the last time I was in a Pizza Express/Milano's and the new additions are a big plus. I had an extra thin and crispy 'Romana' pizza which was absolutely delicious and not at all overloaded with cheese. There are new items on the starters menu too which all sounded good, we shared mushroom risotto balls which were really tasty and just enough to share if you want to have room for the supersized Romana pizzas. While I didn't try any I saw lots of the new 'mini' desserts going out which all looked very tempting and the perfect size to have with a coffee.

Food aside, the restaurant itself was definitely the nicest of any of the others I've been in and there was a good buzz about the place, it was jammers and it was only a Monday night. The perfect respite after a days shopping!
