I never thought I'd buy a Sven, Johanna or Maria, but I think I did and IKEA were selling them! We went here to get pretty much all the furniture for our office. It's great because we had everything picked (and knew it was in-stock) before we went to the store and by all accounts it was going to be one of the most efficient shops of my life. I've learned now that shopping in IKEA isn't a straight-forward thing. No matter how well you plan your exercise (that's what furniture shopping is) it will not work that way once you get to IKEA. As soon as you see all the goodies in the flesh your plans go straight out the window. It's a different world inside IKEA. They have some of the best distractions ever to appear in a shop - iron bums pounding away in glass cases showing you how they stress-test their furniture. Can furniture shopping get any better!? Good quality, relatively cheap and well thought out furniture designs make this the first place you should visit when you need something for your house. Also, try the sweedish meat-balls in the onsite café. Excellent.
