Bendigo is the largest inland city in Victoria and has a huge historical significance. Bendigo was mainly a mining town in its hay day, but now is a huge tourist destination. This city has a large Chinese population and Chinese culture is an important part of community life.

Bendigo is a small, but beautiful city and a great place for tourists looking for a range of experiences. It is a vibrant, interesting city with a mixture of old mines and buildings and modern infrastructure. The parklands are worth the trip alone and the old buildings, especially Camp Hill and the Cathedral and incredibly well preserved and maintained. Bendigo has something for everyone and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the region. It's also famous for its pottery, arts and crafts and fairs.
